The idea of the founder of the Museum of Beekeeping, Bronius Kazlas, was to present the world of bees and beekeeping with sculptures and spatial objects in an ethno-cultural context. This is unique not only to Lithuania but also in a global context. The uniqueness is threefold! Nature and its many, twelve educational programs related to beekeeping and bee products, hold the new interactive exhibit in 6 buildings with 4 ha area adapted for active recreation and communication.
Once through the museum gate, let the beekeeping world entrance you. You will discover a unique acquaintance - through educational programs, experiential activities, through nature and bee product scent therapy in hammocks, through historical knowledge of beekeeping, through fellowship in the museum's arbor... Learn about bees, humans, plants, honey and other wonders. Experience oneness with what surrounds, blossoms, hums; that which makes life sweet and zesty.
