Black alder grows near the Januliškis forest district building, on the roadside near the Peršokšna river bridge. Declared protected in 2005. The inhabitants of Januliškis village called it "Gumbulis" ("lumpy”) because of its thick branches, which are covered in moss. Tree height - 24 m, trunk circumference - 2.90 m, age - about 150 years.
