It is a regional division of the Open Air Museum of the Lithuania Folk Household museum, which is based on the model of an ecomuseum.The purpose of such a museum is to promote the well-being and sustainable development of local communities. Therefore its activities are primarily based on the participation of local people. An exceptional feature of the ecomuseum in Salos II village is the traditional life and the multifunctional economic activity that will be authenticated and interpreted here.
