There aren't that many mounds in Labanoras regional park, but on the shore of the stunning Kertuojai lake you can find Kertuoja mound. Place legend says that this mound was built by witches, who dug the ground and carried dirt with their aprons until a hill was formed. The story says that these witches were playful and had charming voices. On calm summer evenings they would often sit on the mound and sing beautiful songs. Other witches nearby would answer them, and the whole forest would be full of young witches' songs.
